    Some of the links don’t work, but of those that do, most of the people making the statements are not scientists. If you took quotes from every person who speculates on what causes cancer or stress, you’d probably come up with even a longer list.

    I just happen to be reading a well-researched article by R. Warren Anderson and Dan Gainor in 2006 to highlight the switchbacks (warming/cooling/warming/cooling) of main stream media over the last century. See http://www.businessandmedia.org/specialreports/2006/fireandice/fireandice.asp
    It is facinating seeing the actual wording from the NY Times and Time Magazine over the decades. I think we are on the cusp of another switchback because the journalists now are moving away from “global warming” to “climate change.” That must mean that at least some editors think that their organizations have moved a little too far out on the global warming limb.
